Fotoklub Split udruga je građana koja već više od stotinu godina okuplja zaljubljenike u fotografiju i fotografsku umjetnost.

Udruga je osnovana u travnju 1911. godine na inicijativu uglednih i zaslužnih splitskih građana, profesora Umberta Giromette i Juraja Božičevića. Od 1953. godine Fotoklub Split se nalazi na istoj adresi u samom srcu grada – Marmontova ulica broj 5 – a već od 1956. u okviru Fotokluba s djelatnošću započinje Galerija fotografije koja do danas ima neprikinutu izložbenu djelatnost izlaganja isključivo fotografije i jedinstven je takav slučaj na području cijele Hrvatske. Godišnje se u Galeriji održi dvadesetak izložbi, a broj posjetitelja doseže i 60 tisuća (godišnje)..

Galerija fotografije Fotokluba Split i Fotoklub Split od 2014. godine zaštićeni su kao kulturno dobro pri Registru kulturnih dobara Republike Hrvatske.

Fotoklub Split is a citizen’s association that has been gathering people who love photography and photographic art.

The association was founded in April 1911 by respectable and distinguished citizens of Split, professor Umbero Girometta and Juraj Božičević. Fotoklub Split has been on the same address at the very heart of the city since 1953 – Marmontova Street 5. Since 1956, and as a part of the Fotoklub, a photography Gallery has been opened and it has been continually exhibiting photographs exclusively. It is the only gallery in Croatia that does this without interruptions. The Gallery holds about twenty exhibitions a year and the number of visitors reaches 60 thousand (a year).

The Photography Gallery of the Fotoklub Split and Fotoklub Split have been protected since 2014 as a Cultural property at the Registry of Cultural Property of Croatia.
